The CBOI depends enormously on the generosity of sponsors in order to deliver its exceptional music and peace programme throughout Ireland and further afield. Funds donated to the CBOI are used to:
1. Deliver a Music Education and Cultural Programme to 7,000 children in schools throughout Ireland
2. Deliver Peace Programmes in schools where a legacy of conflict still exists
3. Provide exceptional orchestral training for the 130 members of the CBOI including workshops, and rehearsals
4. Provide exceptional performance opportunities for young people including working with top professional musicians and conductors and playing in premier music venues
5. Develop an Instrument Bank
6. Commission special musical compositions which reflect the history and culture of Ireland
7. Represent Ireland at cultural and historical events in Ireland and Internationally
8. Provide life changing opportunities for young people through participation in International tours while showcasing the best of Ireland.´
